The Story

FinOpps started with a simple request from a caterer: "I need invoicing that actually shows event details—not just a price list."

That one conversation revealed a gap nobody was filling. Event vendors—caterers, decorators, sound engineers, florists—were stuck using tools built for retail or accounting. Tools that had no concept of setup time, teardown, event dates, or crew coordination.

Over the past 2.5 years, we've built FinOpps alongside real event professionals. Every feature exists because someone doing this work needed it. Our event decorator customers pushed us to build work orders. Our sound clients needed cleaner proposal flows. Every improvement comes from the people actually running these businesses.

We're not trying to be everything for everyone. We're building the best business platform for event vendors—especially wedding and event decorators who deserve tools as polished as the events they create.
